Suggested Graphic Designers
Advertisers are responsible for submitting their camera ready ad for insertion into the magazine. Please follow the specifications needed for your ads. We have compiled a list of suggested graphic designers that may be available to assist you by designing your ad. These designers cost between $40 - $150. Or feel free to use your own designer.

CAMERA READY ADVERTISEMENTS ONLY Files TYPES Accepted: Hi Res pdf's, Hi Res jpg's, and InDesign files.
All Color files should be converted to CMYK. Artwork can be completed by your own designer (see our recommended list of graphic designers) or the DCA can supply a finished ad for you at an additional cost. Please contact the Advertising Manager for in-house designer assistance information, or let us know that you will be supplying a camera-ready ad.

Ad Specifications for Camera Ready Ads
Full Page size: 8.25" x 10.75"
- add 1/4" all around if ad bleeds to edges (8.75" x 11.25")
- Keep live art to: 7.25" x 9.75"
- Color ads or black & white ads must be 300 dpi*, or more for best printing quality.
- 300 or 600 dpi is preferable.
Full Page "Pedigree Ad" size: 8.25" x 10.75" (Vertical) (No Bleed)
1 color shot, cropped to dog only, emailed photo MUST be 300 dpi
- Copy includes:
- B& W full page ad.
- Name of dog
- Owners
- 4 generation pedigree
- 50 words or less description
Full Page "Litter Ad" size: 8.25" x 10.75" (Vertical) (No Bleed)
2 photos (one of each sire and dam), Cropped to dog only. Emailed photo MUST be 300dpi
- Copy includes:
- B& W full page ad for $75 or Color for $175
- Name of sire and dam
- Owners
- 4 generation pedigree
- 50 words or less description
Half Page size: 4" x 9.5" (Vertical) (No Bleed) or 7.5" x 5.25" (Horizonal) (No Bleed)
- Color ads or black & white ads must be 300 dpi*, or more for best printing quality

Quarter Page size: 4" x 5.25" (Vertical) (No Bleed) or 2.187" x 7.7" wide (Horizontal)(No Bleed)
